“Nicely maintained, but noisy and expensive”

We stayed there two nights in mid 2011, so I am writing the review a bit late. The campground is maybe 20 minute walk from the ferry. Really no need to look for the ride. Just walk left side from the ferry, around what looks like a little park, take left and you are there. Grounds are very well maintained... More

“Nice & maintained - affordable stay on Lana'i”

While on the island of Lana'i we stayed at Hulopo'e Beach Campground for two nights (Feb.9 &10). The camping area has picnic tables and outdoor grills; I believe we were told no fires are allowed on the ground. The camping area is just a few yards from one of the nices beaches I've ever been to. Last month we decided to visit Lana'i and after hours of research we agreed on 2 nights of camping at Hulopo'e Beach and 1 night in a hotel (it would have been a last minute decision after we arrived).
