Location was great. Room decor was bland. Restaurant was fantastic. Bed was comfortable. Porches were cool. Service was ok. First day the room was not cleaned, the bed was not made up, the towels were taken but not returned. No towels whatsoever. We left that morning to explore at 6am and returned at 6pm. The housekeeper was a few doors... More

First I want to apologize that your room wasn't cleaned and you weren't given fresh towels on the first day of your stay. It is our hotel policy to clean each room daily and our laundry is sent out to a commercial company and returned daily, so there is really no excuse for you not receiving fresh towels. Again let... This hotel is in a great location at the harbor in Lahaina and the front desk staff were pleasant. All of the guest rooms are on the second floor. Because this is an historic hotel they are exempt from having to be ADA compliant. Therefore there is no elevator so you have to lug your suitcases up a steep flight... More

We literally were steps from the door of the Best Western Pioneer Inn when we stepped off our tender boat from the Sea Princess cruise ship early on the morning of Tuesday, May 8, 2012. We knew we were too early for check-in, but had arranged with the inn in advance to drop off our luggage to be stored for... More

Wanted to go to Canton, TX in May, but couldn't get a reservation in Canton, so ended up at Best Western in Emory, TX about 23 miles away. The hotel was 3 months old. It was fully booked and super-quiet. Had a nice pool. The pub hasn't opened yet, but looks nice. Had a free, hot breakfast in the morning.... More

We stayed here for our anniversary visit. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Although the room was small, there was plenty of storage space available. We loved the lanai looking down on the park. The one downfall I noted, was that there was no elevator for the 2nd level. The restaurant attached to the hotel had great... More

Pioneer Inn is an old property but rooms seem to have been renovated recently. It is in center of town and close to everything. AC is very loud as is everywhere in Maui so we were better off after shutting it down at night. More

We requested a room that offered a view of the ocean. They indicated that although they didn't have a room that had that type of view, they promised us a nice view, which we did get from our balcony. The Pioneer Inn is the oldest Inn in the Hawaiian Island chain and it does show it's age, but that's not... More

My husband and I stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed it. You have to understand going in that it's an old building, but full of charm. There is no parking, so they give you a pass for a public parking lot, not really a problem, you can drop your bags off then go and park. Check in was... More

On our anniversery trip we stayed first in a condo with another couple. Nice but kind of isolated. Our last 4 nites were just us at the Pioneer. Beautiful old place and every day or nite you could sit and stare at the ocean, the Banyan tree or the parade of people on Front St. Not fancy and not an... More

I ended up getting of a cruise ship and staying the remainder of my holidays here.. It was convenient being right in town, but I was a little worried at first being that my room was so close. My room faced the banyan tree and was right on the street. It wasn't noisy at all though, pretty quiet. If you're... More
