This hotel is in an excellent location, right on the water of quiet Napili Bay north of Lahaina. It has many fish and turtles in the waters, with a nice beach for swimming and sun bathing. Napili Shores is a condominium managed by Outrigger group. My family of four (including kids ages 8 & 5) stayed 7 nights in April 2012. Each of the ~7 buildings has just two stories, and all have sliding glass doors with patios facing inward toward the garden, pools and/or lawn. This is not the place to stay with small children, the rooms are good, but no barriers to break waves, very rough surf. Staff is very nice. Would not recommend if bringing kids under 14. More

As many reviewers already stated the location is very nice and I did not see those kind of (to me at least) awful high buildings as in Lahaina which is just a 10 minutes drive away.
