I love this place and would stay again but... I think the website should be more upfront on the pet issues. I love dogs and they are clearly kept out of the guest area, no problem. I actually would have liked to interact with them more. Unfortunately I am not a bird lover. Sorry, Maureen. There are 2 giant birds... More

I had the pleasure of staying in the Hibiscus Room at Wailuku Guesthouse. It was located in the back of the house near to the salt water pool. Cute room with a queen size bed, fan, desk, mini fridge, microwave, cooler and beach towels and a private bathroom with shampoo, lotion and soap. Maureen made some delicious banana bread and... More

We'd never been to Maui before and loved the guesthouse. 4 of us stayed in the Ohana. It was clean and carefully furnished. It had everything we needed and plenty of room for what we brought. We have stayed at rental houses before, and our experience has been that the owners want to share our fun and never leave us... More

Aloha Ann, We are so delighted that you found our little Wailuku Guesthouse to be perfect for your needs. Having three of your girls all on Maui at the same time must have been a lot of fun. Providing the beach chairs, beach towels, sun umbrellas, coolers and some snorkel gear is one way that we can make your stay... More

My wife and I spent two weeks at the guesthouse. The owners are very friendly, and it was wonderfully convenient to have beach chairs and towels, coolers, and unbrellas to make our time at the beach very pleasant. The surroundings were quiet, and all necessities for daily living were close at hand. Costco, and Wal Mart are just a few... More

On our first trip to Maui I booked this place because it was close to the airport and we had a late flight in. It was easy to find and it was a lovely remodeled Hawiian style home. The grounds were nice and the owner/ manager Maureen was a delightful and helpful woman. Their son was cute and we had... More

I'm giving this a five star review based on this based on this being a family vacation versus a romantic getaway. My husband and I booked the Garden Ohana suite for ourselves, our 16 year old daughter, and my married daughter with son in law and baby. Maureen and her husband have succeeded in making this a charming, comfortable place... More

Aloha Family, I'm very glad you were able to bring along your 16 year old daughter. The Garden Ohana is perfect for families. I'm also happy about the fact that Declan's charity is a nice thing. He has been working with Hawaii Canines for Independence since he was in first grade. This will be his 5th year. Sometimes kids think... More

Great studio with kitchen, great room size (we added a toddler bed), beach towels, all king of gear for swimming, snorkling... nice swimming pool area, great parrots! Aloha Friends, We are so glad we could accommodate you and your family. Sorry for that first night when you had the noisy guest in the room next to you. This was my second stay at the Wailuku Guesthouse and it was very relaxing and quiet. Arguably the best place to stay in Central Maui. The Hibiscus room was a little small, but cozy and located near the pool.
