The good things are being right on the beach and the AC worked! The bad things are that there is no on site staff past 2200 so when the kids start partying and banging on the doors at 0200 there is no one around to deal with it. For the same rate stay at the amazing Moano O Sina, I... More

I have apologized profusely to this guest who certainly experienced a stressful night. We do however have on site security 24/7. We had a High School Prom across the street that night. Several parents rented rooms and left teenagers unsupervised for the evening. This is totally against our policy. Security was run ragged all night long, guests were disturbed and... More

Like the name says - Sadies by the Sea - and thats what is is, right by the sea. Good Rooms, Good Service, Good Food, Good Times, and close enough to walk to town if you get bored. Have stayed here a few times and always enjoyed the break. More

Stayed at Sadie's by the Sea for three nights in late March and really had only one complaint that was canceled out by the hotel's apology including a free breakfast and the accommodating and friendly manner of all those who worked there. Almost didn't get a ride to Sadie's from the airport since the front office had told the shuttle... More

My husband and I recently had to travel to Pago Pago for business, we stayed at Sadies. The rooms are just rooms, nothing really special and yes they do have a moldy smell as most of the places on the Island do. We picked the right spot. It was on the water, you could sit outside and eat breakfast right... More

Although we had limited time in American Samoa, we learned quite a bit about the country and what to expect while there. Sadies seems to be one the more established hotels on the island but given that, don't expect too much. The staff was friendly, allowing us to change rooms after the first night. We checked in quite late and... More

if you want to based in pago close to its trading centers and have access to a beach, this is the place to be. people are friendly but service is average. foo is very reasonably priced but nothing out of the ordinary. it can get noisy in the afternoons as the pool becomes crowded with people - they have a... First off you have to accept that you are in American Samoa and not Beverly Hills. With only two passenger flights a week from Hawaii and two cargo ships per month the community does not have a lot of easy access to the daily luxuries of life. So start by slowing down and changing your attitude because you have just... More

We made reservations, & the receptionist informed me that we could check in the morning. When we got there, around 11, the room was far from being ready. It took about an hour & a half to be finished. When we finally got in the room, the bed sheets were filthy, covered in sand and the cleaning process looked rushed.... More

With all the clues in this review I should be able to identify the mentioned problem(s) but unfortunately I have struck out so I must give a general response: 1. Early check-in: This is never promised (unless the guest expects to be charged) at time of reservation. If House-keeping permits, (i.e. rooms are properly serviced) we make every effort to... More

We stayed at Sadies only one night after coming back from Western Samoa this past June. We should have made our stay in Pago longer. This was the highlight of our trip. Everyone who works at Sadies is extremely nice and helpful! The grounds are beautiful, right on the ocean. The goat island cafe is where we spent most of... More

Recently visited Sadies by the Sea again and had a great time. The staff are very helpful and the rooms are clean and tidy. The food at the Goat Island Cafe is lovely and also enjoyed the local band that was playing by the pool. Thanks to Tom, the owner who always makes our visit enjoyable. More
