Loved the convenience of being close to everything especially the island shuttle was just minutes from my room. The breakfast is very good. The owner is very helpful and runs a hands on operation. The room was nicely decorated. Could use a bit of air freshner in the wardrobe. Inn itself is quite pretty. Would stay again. More

Very disappointing stay. The room was very small and dimly lit. The overall atmosphere of Ivy Manor inn was stuffy and uninviting, unlike the previous B&Bs we have stayed in. Although the location is good, and the breakfast is excellent, I would not recommend this place as you are paying too much for what you actually get. More

This place is perfectly located, within walking distance to everything in Bar Harbor, but woth the feel of being in the country. The staff is extremely helpful, and the breakfasts are wonderful. Because the "inn" is located over the kitchen and restaurant, the noise from downstairs makes sleep after 7am and prior to midnight rather difficult. I found the service with my concerns regarding room cleaniness to be nonexistent. More
