Really enjoyed our innkeepers, Roy and Helene. Roy was johnny on the spot with daily adventure suggestions. And they were excellent itineraries including hiking, sightseeing in Acadia, climbing, restaurants, drives. He seemed to tailor each day just for us, asking if we liked the last day's adventure. Our stay during windy October weather resulted in 3 sleepless nights as the loose, drafty window frames banged mercilessly. This old house is in need of repairs. Breakfast was odd, with no alternative choice. Bath was cramped and outdated, no mirror in the bedroom to do hair/makeup. Wobbly lights and a queen mattress balanced on a full size frame. More

More than we expected. Attentive but not overwhelming. Charming beyond imagination. Breakfasts were outstanding! Breathtaking location. Excellent housekeeping.
