Threadbare notted rough sheets with terribly uncomfortable spring mattress.....no water, ice or coffee available for room. Superficial clean, but noticed so much dirt behind bed while plugging in the fan. Desk men were very, very polite and helpful with dinner suggestions. Good location. Would not stay there again. A charming hotel situated in the Italian district, well located for exploring San Francisco. Rooms are sufficient without being luxurious and staff are friendly and helpful. Only downside would be having to carry heavy bags up the stairs to our room (no lift), but would recommend Hotel Boheme and go back there when in SF again. More
