The lodge is not in a very safe locality...so walking on the street after dark is a no-no, cabs are difficult to find...we just stayed there for 1 night during our west coast trip...we had rented a car so it wasn't that bad...the rooms were not really clean, the shower dint have hot water and the staff was rude...don't go... The hotel staff were very good and friendly. On my arrival I was offered me a very warm welcome. They were eager to give advice on the city and the various tourist sites, more importantly the “no go” areas. They even went on to offer some money saving tips and some good restaurants.
