We loved this hotel! The service is excellent, rooms very clean! Very funky hotel within walking or short cab distance to everything you could want to do or see in downtown SFO! We would come back again and again! More

Can't imagine a better-situated place for San Francisco. If the rooms were only a couple of feet wider (so that one person could pass between the bed and another person sitting at the desk), this place could price itself out of reach for many of us. Within walking distance of Union Sq., Moscone Convention Ctr., Museum of Modern Art, Yerba... More

This hotel was everything we asked for in the funky, fun, artsy city of SanFran. Great location and amazing architecture and style. Comfy beds, great staff who really helped us find the great local hangouts and the best dinner in town! If you appreciate vintage and funky and being in the heart of the city, then this hotel is for... More

Last year, I posted a review regarding an awful booking experience. We were planning our annual trip to SF during the Christmas holidays and we ended up in an another hotel. Earlier this month, I received a TA message from The Galleria's manager inviting me to give his hotel another chance. Coincidentally, we had just finalized our flight plans (... More

I really liked this hotel from the moment I stepped inside. The hotel is slightly older, but well renovated and maintained, giving it a certain character that a newer property couldn't have. My room had plain turquoise wallpaper and prints of some nice line drawings on the walls. It has higher ceilings than a newer property, and a nice art... More

Great service, beautiful hotel - loved the art work and colors and textiles. Interior room was very dark but also very quiet which was nice. Wonderful roof garden and attached to a small strip of shops. Fantastic location close to union square and BART station. A young group of service staff and all were very responsive and friendly. The staff was amazing for my 5 night stay. Unfortunately that is the best this old hotel has too far. The rooms are NYC small and the bathrooms are old, small and overall uncomfortable. The gym has one treadmill, bike and cross trainer. They have some dumbbells and pulley machine. The location is great but for the same money there... More

Dear Mr. Koter, I appreciate you taking the time to post a review on Tripadvisor. I am very disappointed to read that we did not meet your expectations as far as the size of your room and the fitness studio that we offer to our guests. Like many San Francisco historical, boutique hotels, a few of our rooms are not... More

Absolutely loved staying here. The room was impeccably clean, inviting and a decent size for 4 people. The staff were fairly young and were super-friendly and enthusiastic about recommending things for us to do. They gave us some great advice on local hotspots (Mexican restaurant in the the Mission District and Belden Place), and we also booked a city sightseeing... More

What a wonderful find! Excellent hotel with very friendly and service oriented staff who made our stay very enjoyable. The room was quaint and comfortable. Very comfortable bed. We had a room facing the inner courtyard which meant nice and quiet! The hotel is in an excellent location with easy access to Union Square, China town and lots of transit... More
