Have to be careful getting a safe, nice hotel around Union Square....and this hotel fit the bill with so much more! Stayed here on my first visit to San Francisco with my wife. The front desk staff were extremely polite and helpful! The location is within the city centre and near to the tram/BART. The room is small but cosy and the toilet is new and clean. I would recommend all visitors to consider this hotel! More

Great location, in the heart of downtown surrounded by great cafes, restaurants and shops. Very close to the BART, street car stops and trams. The staff were really helpful with questions, suggestions and any issues that we had with onward arrangements. Lovely old style renovation. The bar next door is excellent, definitely go there. Chose to stay here from researching on TripAdvisor.We were pleasantly surprised. We arrived quite early - around 11.00am. and no problems, our room was ready!!
