My recent stay at Le Meridien was an excellent one. The location is fantastic, very close to the Embarcadero, and one must visit the Ferry Terminal. Close to the Ferry Terminal, local artisans offer various products, such as necklaces and portraits at reasonable costs. The hotel is located to numberous choices of restaurants at all budgetary options, and it is... More

Overall an elegant hotel. I first have to complement the staff.... my flight was delayed several hours and as a result i had to cancel one night of my stay, however they were friendly and had no problem changing my reservation. Upon arrival i was met by a welcoming reception staff and was given a room on the 15th floor,... More

I stayed here in March for a family wedding weekend, the hotel was very comfortable and clean. The front desk staff was incredibly nice and helpful, check-in was a breeze. I loved the comfy beds and the great location. Wireless internet was something like $12/nt, a bit nuts considering this is not exactly a budget hotel. There were also weird... More

We had a slightly above average experience at Le Meridien San Francisco. First of all the concierge was always very helpful and was happy to indicate attractions or restaurants as per our demands. The room was an elegant studio suite on a lower floor, I guess I paid the basic room rate, however there were some noise issues coming from... More

We stayed in Le Meridien for over 3 days during the week while we had some social and business events. The BEST thing about Le Meridien is that they allow dogs. AWESOME. Second, the staff are really great, very attentive and client oriented. However, their rooms do need a refresh. We stayed on a high floor in a junior suite,... More

Located in the heart of the financial district, this hotel is convenient to many offices, but still a cab or trolley ride to fisherman's wharf. YOu can walk 4 blocks to the Ferry Building, and walk or jog along the Embarcadero. Not much is open in the area after 5pm, however. The lobby was large with ample seating. Relatively fast... More

This is our second stay at Le Meridien - both times using Internet deals that put the room under $200/night. At that rate, this hotel is an amazing deal. Unfortunately, our Starwood Preferred bennies don't kick in at the third party discount rate. The hotel is artfully decorated in dark woods and textures. Artworks are tastefully and prominently displayed. The... More

Got a great price on le meridien via Priceline. Loved the hotel. The room as clean, contemporary, had a great view and the linens were lovely. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Coffee in the lobby is nice but I would prefer it in my room. Staff was lovely. This hotel is near Clay and Battery and a few blocks... More

Enjoyed my stay at the le meridien. Upgraded to the executive room that had a georgous view of the city. Room was good sized, updated, and the bed was comfortable. Stereo also nice touch. Bathroom was roomy, with robes (must have). My only complaint was the hotel bar was in the lobby and closed at 12pm. Location was perfect for... More

This is a nice hotel with a good location.. There are some odd shaped rooms due to the architecture of the hotel, but the vast majority of the rooms are very comfortable. You are close to China Town, Little Italy, Market Street shopping, the financial district, the embarcadero/ferry building and both cable car lines. More
