This hotel is an easy walk from the Powell Street BART station (when arriving from the airport with a wheelie suitcase). We only stayed for one night but this was an excellent choice. Near eateries, bars, shopping, and cable car. Room was a larger than the other place we stayed last visit. Everyone was extremely helpful.

Liked the lobby and proximity to Union Square. Thought the room to be adequate and well appointed. Bathroom could use additional shelving. Stayed in rm 704, lots of street noise, even though it didn't face the street. Italian restaurant has good reputation. Staff very attentive. Will stay again but ask for a quiet room.

Villa Florence is located in the heart of San Francisco amongst a vibrant shopping and restaurant district. The hotel is directly on the cable car route and within walking distance of the embarcadero. Rooms are extremely comfortable, well appointed and staff are courteous. This hotel is located in Union Square. Close to everything. The rooms were a decent size and at a good price, we had another couple staying with us. Everything was clean. The staff was very helpful. We did not try the bar and restaurant but it all looked nice. I would definitely stay here again.
