We have traveled all over the world and stayed at wonderful hotels and B&BS - this is not one of them. First off let me say that when you get to the house the location is beautiful - Sharon well that is where the story begins. . . I tried to book this place via email - -through a series... More

As the co-owner of Thimbleberry Inn, with my husband Craig, let me start out by saying that in Wisconsin a Bed and Breakfast has to be your home and you have to live on the premises. With that said, these guests were very disrespectful of our home. I am known around town as a very friendly helpful person who is... More

We enjoyed spending our 38th anniversary at the Thimbleberry Inn. Sharon was friendly and helpful. She offered to pick up sandwiches in town so we could relax at the BnB for supper. We enjoyed the view, fishing, the family of raccoons that wandered through the paths, and the visiting with other guests and Sharon! The food was delicious too!

We've been hitting vacation spots for 12 years now, ever since Donna retired, and this was the best we've seen, hands down. Sharon & Craig were perfect, welcoming, made you feel relaxed, fed you like royalty, and we've never opened our eyes in the morning to a more lovely woodland glade. Then you can scamper down the stairs to the... More

Once again, we spent a truly glorious weekend at the Thimbleberry Inn in Bayfield. Sharon and Craig Locey continually go above and beyond excellent service to insure their guests are treated the best of any Bed and Breakfast establishment in the whole midwest. Located in a beautiful wooded setting along the shore of Lake Superior, the B & B was... More

Our stay was exactly what we needed. Sharon, Judy and Craig provided the very best in hospitality. The house is well-kept and very clean. Craig personally designed and built this B&B to allow for maximum privacy and comfort for the guests. Sharon is a fantastic hostess and cook (and quite the character. Ask her about "Clown College" if you get... More

Great experience for our first time staying at a B&B. The hosts Sharon & Craig were friendly and helpful recommending places to eat and things to do in the area. The breakfasts were unbelievable and loved the desserts when you returned to your room in the evenings. A great woodsy area and quiet place to stay for some rest and... More

We have many happy memories after spending three nights at the Thimbleberry Inn in August 2012- enjoying the spectacular views from the expansive windows of our room; watching the sunrise from our personal tree shaded bench overlooking lake Superior; and chatting with other guests over delicious breakfasts. The hosts Craig and Sharon are hospitable, cheerful, enthusiastic, delivering coffee and muffins... More

Had a great anniversary weekend at Thimbleberry. Aside from the fact that the Apsotle Islands are one of my favorite places on earth, we found Sharon and Craig to be excellent hosts. The food was awesome, and the place was beautifully maintained and clean. The whole weekend was absolutly relaxing! Enjoy your upcoming retirement!
