I've stayed here several times mostly due to the location and that it has a pool which is nice to come back to after a day of hiking or climbing. I've read several of the reviews and people need to relax. It is definitely better than a KOA site where you have an outhouse and no shower. The owners are... More

Was looking not to spend a fortune in Moab. Found the cabins here and booked one thinking of having grabbed a deal. Well, the gentleman at the check in was very nice but the cabin was extremely basic. Just two not-so-clean mattresses, no pillow, old, filthy carpet. Escaped the place and drove to Green River. Never again.

That's exactly what our web page says. Economy Cabins. For the smart traveler and the budget minded person we offer small, cute, cozy and clean economy cabins. NOT a hotel and spa. Hotels start at $150 a night and go to over $500 a night. Ours are less than $60 a night. If you can tough it up a little... More

My wife and I have stayed here a few times over the years, never again. Most of the issues that we had during our stay could be easily fixed, some not so easy. The underlying problem is that their facilities are old and worn out and for the most part VERY dirty. The showers are absolutely filthy, they have not... More

Again, we apologise that these people had a unpleasant stay. As with all our guest, we encourage them to preview our facilities before we take their money. We never claimed to be a hotel and spa. Not all people are suited to the camping environment. Timing is critical in order to make the most of your stay in Moab. When... More

We are veterans when traveling to Moab, UT for the Easter Jeep Safari. This year we decided we would try a RV campground instead of staying at a friends property. We researched all the campgrounds but only this place had availability because of the packed weekend (1st red flag). The website only had one photo of the RV "park" (2nd... More

We apologize that this couple had a unpleasant stay. We are Moab's Oldest and Largest "Campground". We are not the back yard of their friends house. We encourage all of our guest to take a look at the park before we take their money. We also would encourage all of our guest to check Moab's Calender or Events. Planning is... More

Just starting my 5th year of coming to Moab and staying at Slickrock (my 9th year straight coming to Moab). I keep coming back to slickrock campground even before I ever owned an RV. I have stayed in the tent sights mostly, camped in the cabins a couple of times and finally brought my camper to slickrock for the first... More

We stumbled upon Slickrock Campground as a last resort after our other camping arrangements fell through, and couldn't have been happier. We arrived late and departed early, but the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Next time we're in Moab, we'll be back! --Andrew Colorado Springs, CO

We are the last of the "Mom and Pop" campgrounds. There are plenty of other campgrounds if you want to be treated like a number from a corporate operation. We love Happy Campers! More

We thought we would spend a second night in Moab. We had a great experience at an RV park in town the night before, decided to stay another night but closer to the bike trails we wanted to visit the next day. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. There was a stench of burning garbage in the air (NOT campfire smoke).... More

We refunded this couple and ask them to leave within the first hour of their visit. We have an obligation to see that our other guest have a pleasant and enjoyable stay. The rude demeanor and obsessive profanity of this couple was cause for us to remove them. I would suspect that this is why they only spent one night... More

I have stayed at the Slickrock campground for my annual Moab vacation for the last couple of years and I'm happy to say that this has been my best experience at the campground. The management, office staff, and groundskeeper have all been very pleasant and accommodating. I found the bathrooms to be well maintained and cleaned regularly, and the groundskeeper... More

Nice property. I read a lot of the negative reviews and it kind of seems as though maybe those folks weren't used to campgrounds. This campground was clean (including the bathrooms), GREAT hottub!, and pretty quiet at night. We stayed in one of the cabins. They are very basic and minimal. MAKE SURE TO BRING YOUR BEDDING! The beds were... More

We stayed at Slickrock campground in late September. The campground itself was nice, comfortable and very convenient to Moab and surrounding areas. The problem: We paid cash for the first night at Slickrock and the next morning we went to scout out BLM campgrounds nearby. As we left Slickrock, we left a credit card reservation for another night, just in... More
