KOA in Moab, UT. 2nd time we have spent about a week at the rv park, and we will be back again! It is clean, quiet, you can't beat the fantastic view. Hosts go above and beyond to see that everyone has an excellent stay. Recommend it, absolutely do stay there, you will love it! More

We stayed there for 2 nights while we were visiting Moab for some hiking. Bathrooms and showers are very clean. Office personel were very nice. We had a dead battery in our Van one morning and they were able to put a charge on it for us and get us on our way quickly. The store is very convienent. The... More

My boyfriend and I were in Moab last summer to do some mountain biking. We reserved a cabin, mostly so we wouldn't have to store all of our stuff in the car while we were out exploring. Thank goodness because it was smoking hot and the AC was a lifesaver! The cabin was clean, and comfortable, and removed enough from... More

I've stayed at different KOAs across the US, and am usually very happy with the experience that we have. The Moab KOA, however, has proven to be the very bottom of the barrel. Staff - not friendly, not willing to help. Campsites - very raw, no weather protection - no trees, shade, no fires permitted. Restrooms - absolutely disgusting. The... More

We stayed at the KOA MOAB for the Canyonlands 1/2 Marathon March 2012. It was the cheapest place we could find that took dogs. We have two beloved little chihuahuas we like to take with us. The price was pretty good and we were pretty pleased when we arrived. It seemed like a fairly nice place but since my husband... More

Tent camping in the desert in July is not for the faint-of-heart, but this wasn't a bad place to do it. The tent sites all have trees and are nicely divided, although you are right next to your neighbors. They do make an effort to space out the tents if they're not full. I didn't use the pool or laundry... More

Stayed at this KOA in June of this year. Staff were friendly enough. The owners will patrol at night and will tell you to be quiet after 9:30. Very family friendly and very clean bathrooms. Cabins were fine. AC units in cabins are swamp coolers and did not keep the cabins cool in the day time. That kept my rating... More

I'm not really a camping person, but a friend suggested doing the KOA cabin thing as a way of saving money. We went with more deluxe options in other KOA's, and I was prepared to come down a few levels with this experience. I liked the idea that the showers were separate from the bathrooms. The pool was very nice.... More

I do a lot of solo, off trail backpacking in remote alpine and high desert areas, so this type of campground is not normally my cup of tea, but it was perfect for a vacation which I undertook with my 9 year old daughter. The Moab area has much to offer in the way of a variety of outdoors activities.... More

This campgound holds up to KOA minimums and doesn't excel at anything. Small sites. If your neighbor sneezes you feel that you have to say God bless you. Showers and toilets together sounds great, but not very convenient when you have to go and eveyone is taking a shower. Tiny pool, playgound from the 60's. For the price, check out... More
