2012, June - stayed here two nights. Expensive for having to be self contained. Employees rarely in the office. Park looked neglected. The restroom/shower house was closed. This was the first and possibly most memorable stop on a long trip. We stayed at the ranch, and were surrounded by it's sheer beauty. The next morning, my husband was up at daybreak and took a walk while I slept, capturing the area on our newl camera. What a treat because we now have some wonderful pictures..

Overpriced tool shed. Took two "cabins" before we found one that was livable. What a dump. I'm trying hard to see how this place was ever much. For $20 it would have been ok...sorta. The Badlands is a nice visit but I wouldn't spend the night around here again. A couple hours is plenty unless you're into hiking/climbing.
