If you are expecting the Holiday Inn Express or at the very least Motel 6 then you are in for a surprise. This is camping without the tent. The accominadations are basic pleasent and old. THe code is cosy and quaint which means tiny and old. That's ok because I have always wanted to stay in an old fashioned moter... More

We will return to stay here many more times as our mountain vacation destination. The area is convienent to many of the attractions as well as outfitter company's that offer beauty and adventure all in one. The rooms were amazing and we couldnt have asked for more. In short "we loved it". More

I just spent two nights at the Log Cabin Motor Court in the Overlook cabin. What a fun place! Our cabin had two rooms and a bathroom. The front room has a double bed, loveseat, table and two chairs, a fireplace (I need to go back when it is cold out!) a mini-fridge and a tv with cable. The back... More

We stayed at the Log Cabin Motor Court over Easter weekend for our birthdays and it was awesome!!! The property itself is beautiful and the cabins are so cute and comfortable. The staff was great. We had our fur baby with us and they don't come in cabins with pets but made sure to check on us every day just... More

My adult daughter and I stayed here to enjoy a girl-getaway weekend and visit the Biltmore. Location was perfec and staying here was like visiting with my family of yesteryear. Cabins are clean, charming, and offer a glimpse of a gentle bygone era that affords quiet comfort. I will definitely stay here when I return to Asheville and have already... More

We stayed at "Traveler's Rest" which has a kitchen as well as a bedroom. There were rocking chairs on the front porch and a wonderful place to walk our two dogs. They even left us dog treats and a dog bowl! Even though it is right on a main road, it is tucked away so it feels as if it's... More

Thank you for your comments regarding your stay in the Traveler's Rest, we're glad you enjoyed your stay with us, liked the location, the rustic ambience and the dog bowl and treat (we like our furry guests). We're sorry you were cold at night due to the gap under the door - this has been repaired. The dripping shower has... More

We stayed in the "Sleepy Susan" and it was very cute and cozy. The fireplace was perfect and worked great to keep the cabin warm throughout our stay. The location was perfect and just minutes from downtown Asheville. The cabins are very basic and rustic. If you need constant attention or require updated bathrooms and kitchens, then this isn't the... More

My boyfriend, German Shepherd, Akita, and I stayed in the Snug Harbor Cabin at The Log Cabin Moter Court in Oct. 2011. It was perfect! The G.Sheperd is a rescue and can be loud, and.had never stayed in a motel. The cabin was very cozy, we stayed 2 nights, it was about 15 minutes from downtown Ashville. We took the... More

Based on my experience, I will definitely return! The Service at the Log Cabin Motor Court was very informative, helpful and friendly! We stayed in Cabin 15 "The Hill Billy" and it was a rustically cozy and cute delight! Asheville is a quite, beautiful area with many sites to see/experience. Whether enjoying a rock in the rocking chairs (provided at... More

We were really disappointed with our stay here. The cabins are sandwiched between two busy, quite loud roads. The noise, coupled with the fact that the cabins are SO close to one another did not lead to much desire to sit on the porch and rock and read. Also, beware of what size cabin you reserve, we opted for the... More

I'm sorry this guest was disappointed with her stay. Our website states that the cabins are located between US 25 and US 19-23 and is less than 6 miles to downtown Asheville. While we are located in a natural setting, traffic noise is part of the convenience of being less than 6 miles to the center of town. A lot... More
