Earlier this month, my husband Jason and I stayed at the Crooked Oak Mountain Inn for 7 nights during our trip to Asheville. Words cannot describe how fabulous the Inn and the Inn Keepers, Patti and Bear, are. They went so far above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable, taken care of and had everything we needed.... More

My wife and I like to stay in Bed and Breakfasts because the level of service and attention to detail is above what you might find in the usual hotel. Crooked Oak is is stellar example of outstanding service and consideration one finds in the best B&B's. The owners, Bear and Patti, were kind, welcoming and went way beyond the... More

We had a girls' reunion at Crooked Oak Mt Inn. Patti & Bear gave us great info on best places to eat and visit during our stay. The breakfasts were incredible especially the herbed sweet potatoes. The bed/baths were comfortable, very quiet and friendly atmosphere. We were exhausted from 5+ miles a day tourist jaunts and came back to the... More

We loved this quiet lovely, friendly, spotlessly clean B&B in THE mountains. Patti made us feel instantly at home. Her. Royal gourmet breakfasts were delicious. Within 10 minutes you are in downtown Asheville or THE Biltmore Estate. We wished we could have stayed longer. More

This B&B inn is the best of both worlds - a mountain top wooded setting, just a few minutes from downtown Asheville. Patti & Bear are the consummate hosts. Our room was roomy & extremely comfortable;delicious huge breakfasts each morning. It has a delightful stone patio with a little pond & waterfall, with a fantastic view down to the city.... More

This is the real deal: A beautiful inn on the side of a mountain just outside Asheville, NC. We stayed for three nights and used the Crooked Mountain Inn as a jumping off point for visits to the Biltmore Estate, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and downtown Asheville. Three things stand out. First is the quality of the place. Rooms are... More

What a wonderful experience it was to be a guest at this Inn. Everything about the stay was exceptional. The hosts, Patti and Bear were absolutely amazing. We stayed in a beautiful room, ate a breakfast each morning that was to die for and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. The garden and patio were very inviting. The view from our balcony... More

We were in Asheville for just a day en route from New England to Florida, but were very lucky to find Crooked Oak. The accommodations are superb, with ready access by guests to phone, soft drinks, and wireless. The setting is very pleasant, with short trails cut through the woods surrounding the house. Bear's pecan-stuffed waffles are something one should... More

I stumbled upon Crooked Oak Mountain Inn in an internet search for a bed & breakfast in the Asheville area in 2005. The Inn had only been open a few years and in an area inundated with many places to stay there were so many choices. After our stay, this is the ONLY place I want to stay! My kids... More
