This hotel is really reasonably priced and although it is not close to downtown, there is a shuttle bus that runs frequently to major areas and worked very well with our sightseeing schedule. Like all Doubletree Suites, it has a living room with sleeper sofa which works well for our kids. This particular hotel's beds are not quite as comfortable... More

The hotel is very nice and convenient. They have a shuttle that offers round trip service to many different attractions around Boston and the view to the river is very pleasant, from the rooms that offer it. My only issue with this hotel was the cleanliness of the room, especially the bathroom. There was hair all over the shower walls... More

Started off great with very friendly front desk staff and a warm cookie. In dining food and service were really good, but struggling with the fact that they charge $12.95 a day for internet...PER DEVICE. Everything else was basically fine...room cleanliness and comfort, location, price, service, noise levels, etc. I just think that's really tacky to charge for internet by... More

I stumbled onto this hotel because I had business at Harvard and stumbled upon an excellent rate through AAA. From the number of other guests milling about, I guess I wasn't the only one who discovered it. My room was just excellent. Roomy, modern, nice amenities, comfortable bed, and, not surprisingly for a suite hotel, a frig and microwave. Bonus,... More

We stayed one night and were pleasantly surprised. This Doubletree is an excellent hotel. All the staff were very friendly, in particular at the front desk and in the restaurant. We were greeted with a warm cookie and were given a great room (actually 2-room suite) overlooking the Charles River. Do ask for an upgrade. The great view was a... More

I stayed here for a conference at HBS, which was a short walk down the road. My room had a nice view of the Charles. The suite was spacious and the bar was comfortable and lively. This is a very popular hotel - I saw sports teams, parents, people visiting local colleges and conferences. The suites block out the noise... More

Stayed here one night while intown for the ballgame at Fenway. Nice hotel, clean, comfortable beds. Shuttle will take you into town or over to harvard square area on a regular schedule. Taxi to fenway is about $10-12 each way. would stay again. More

My husband booked this hotel for a conference that was downtown... this hotel was not.. I was surprised that the rooms were small suites with complementary waters, popcorn and peanuts. The bathroom also had Crabtree & evelyn products. Beds were nice and had lots of pillows. The hotel offered a shuttle to 3 Boston locations. There were food options there... More

They forgot to clean our room. Called at 8pm and they said they would send someone right away. Came back from dinner at 11:00pm. Room still not cleaned. Called and they said everyone gone. I say: I need towels, wash cloths, coffee and creamer. They say: will be there within 10 min. After 30 min. Nothing delivered. I call and... More

We went to Boston to visit the city and my brother-in-law who was in school at Harvard Business School. The Doubletree Hotel was the PERFECT fit! It is located very close to HBS. (Literally 2 blocks away -- a very short walk). The hotel staff was great -- we showed them our Hilton Honors Number and we were immediately upgraded... More
