Our stay was nice. Some of the previous reviews scared me AFTER I bought a two night stay by bidding on Priceline. Pros: Staff were courteous. Room was clean, linens were fresh and crisp. Pillows were comfy, beds were fine. Desk had a couple power outlets for convenient mobile device charging. Refrigerator was clean. Bottled water provided in the room... More

I have stayed in a number of Days Inns in seven or so states of United States and found this Days Hotel to be a rather pleasant place to be. I treated it as a base to come back to as a sort of an interuption to my real reason for being in Boston - ie. a historical fact finding... More

Do yourself a HUGE favor - DO NOT stay at this hotel. The entire premises including the hallways and the room stunk like a cross between a nursing home and a futile attempt to chemically cover up the odor. The furniture was outdated and all scuffed up, the elevator jerked and skipped at every start and stop and overall, the... More

Having stayed here some time ago, this isn't quite what I remembered. Filthy elevators and a hallway with a foul smell that I can't quite place... Odd, like somewhat was eating fried fish an hour ago. This business center at which I am now writing looks like it has a computer (just 1 for a 4 story hotel?) from the... More

This hotel stinks like farts and cigarette butts. After following outdated signs to the back of the hotel on my floor to find a vending machine that wasn't there, I headed back down to the first floor. The desk guy came out and interrupted me on my cellphone to ask me suspiciously if I was "lost" when I was in... More

Overall, the room that my friends and I received was very good. It was clean, spacious, and a good value. However, I would NEVER recommend staying here ever again to ANYONE after our encounter with their manager at the front desk, John. My friends and I were headed to a concert and were excited to be in Boston. We were... More

This hotel was great value for money but you do have to get a bus and a subway to get into Boston and buses at night aren't very regular. The area felt a bit isolated and I wouldn't have liked to wander much at night. The room was spacious if a little dated and musty smelling. Service was good, we... More

The rooms were very dirty, old, and smelled. The room itself was spacious, but the bathroom was tiny! I had to do my hair and makeup using the mirror in the main room. The bathroom also had dust and a filmy substance in various places and appeared as if it hadn't been cleaned in months. Parking was nearly impossible to... More

While the hotel is located a convenient walk from harvard, it is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. The room we were given smelled of horribly strong bathroom cleanser, but not just in the bathroom but everywhere. You can only open the windows a tiny bit, so that didn't help. When I went to call downstairs, I... More

The Day's Inn is not elegant or fancy. But it is reasonably priced and well located. The walk to Harvard Square is about 20 minutes. There is a great diner - The Breakfast Club - located closeby. The facility was clean and pleasant. The room amenities were great (in terms of variety), but the bathroom had a distinct smell of... More
