I was worried when I "won" a room at this hotel on Hotwire; however, the hotel surpassed my expectations. I stayed on the 9th floor and my room was clean, quiet and updated. As others have attested, the location is great. You can easily walk to Beacon Hill, the North End, Faneuil Hall, the Public Gardens, the Esplanade at the... More

We stayed here over the Easter period using my PC points. The reception area had not been completed but this wasn't an issue although it would have been nice to relax in the bar after a hard days walking. The staff were all nice and friendly even though they were working in difficult conditions because of the work. We had... More

This hotel is under renovation but that did not cause any issues for us. Our room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Bathroom was small but the counter top was spacious which was great. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast available was adequate/average. If you like to walk, it is manageable from this location. We walked to the Public... More

This hotel is in a very quaint area in Boston, close to lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping. We walked in to the lobby and restaurant being renovated. The front desk was very courteous and gave us breakfast coupons to use upstairs in one of the banquet rooms, as that was where they were providing breakfast during the renovation. The... More

We come to Boston a few times a year to see to our son's medical needs. We usually stay at Omni Parker House, but noticed this hotel on a previous visit as being a bit closer to where we needed to be, so we finally tried it. We were a little nervous upon entering the lobby as there were major... More

The hotel is finishing a revovation since my last stay here. The lobby and restaurant were 95% blocked off. Rooms were nicely appointed except for the pillows---we had a ing sized bed but only 4 small down-filled throw pillows. Comfortable enough but not nearly large enough. Great location for anything in Boston. Walking distance to Fanieul Hall, TD Garden and... More

Stayed here on business in the middle of March 2012. The hotel was under major renovations but for the most part we were unaffected. Had a slight issue with check in as they gave us a room that already had occupants but the issue was quickly taken care of. Hotel is in a great location- around the corner from Mass... More

The hotel's website claims to have an executive level, complete with lounge. It has nothing of the kind. Don't reserve it. You're paying for nothing: no lounge, no afternoon reception, no breakfast, no business amenities. In fact, the night we stayed, our room was missing furniture, and the noise beginning in early morning would have woken the dead. Breakfast was... More

I am sorry you feel we are being inaccurate with our Executive Level listings. We do not have an Executive Lounge - in fact it has been several years since we've had one. Our Exec Rooms have upgraded amenities, a larger televisions, in room refrigerators, are on a key access floors and come with complimentary Continental Breakfast. We provide the... More

Got this hotel on Priceline for a great deal. It's exactly what you'd expect of a Holiday Inn: clean, and affordable. It's a great location, with many restaurants nearby and within walking distance to the Metro. Only complaint is being able to hear noise from the hallway, though not so much from the street. Still, for what I paid, can't... More
