Have stayed at many Double Tree hotels, have always had a suite. Was shocked when I entered my room and discovered it was a small single room with a king bed. Perhaps I should have looked at the website closer. Hotel is very clean, everything in the room was in good working order. Staff was very always very friendly and... More

If you need to stay in the Downtown area/Theater District and don't want to spend a ton of money this is the hotel for you. They have a great staff that are always cheerful and helpful, a bar and dining area that has good food as well as a friendly staff, and they have a fabulous breakfast buffet where the... More

I stayed at this hotel for about a month. The location is good and the front desk personnel were very polite and helpful. The rooms/suites on the other hand need remodeling. I found tattered sofas and chairs, dirty carpet etc. The carpet steps leading up to check-in are worn and you can see strings on the edge of the steps.... More

Stayed here for a recent business trip. All the hotel staff are really friendly, helpful, and accomodating. Very well trained. Everyone greets you with a hello. I was waiting for an elevator and the cleaning person stopped vaccuuming until I got on the elevator. Needed to switch rooms to accomodate need for meeting space and staff was very helpful, friendly,... More

The location is in walking distance of the Commons. With a T stop right next door, its an easy commute to most places. The corridors are a little dingy but the room was good sized. Great bed, friendly staff. A good choice for a downtown stay More

Most interesting about the hotel is the wide stairway leading to the lobby with bar and reception desk is broad and airy. It has a weloming, relaxing presence. The staff were genuinely friendly and courteous. The room was spacious. The lunch, dinner, and breakfast were average but attentively presented. It was a comfortable stay. The lobby is on the first... More

The location is pretty good although its a bit crowded with a hospital and China town nearby. The service was awesome and the people at the front desk were very helpful. Felt very safe and it was cozy. Very neat. And there aren't any fancy views or anything. More

Literally next door to the wonderful Boston subway system station...cab stop in front of the door and a less than 10.00 ride anywhere in the city...great housekeeping services and front desk help, and the doormen were fabulous! All needs were promptly met by housekeeping and desk people. My only suggestions would be replacement of the mismatched, somewhat shabby furniture and... More

I am a Hilton Honors member who travels every week. I stay in a number of Doubletrees throughout New England. This is typical Doubletree quality. My room had a rathery angularized layout that was a bit odd, but otherwise fine. No noise where I was on the 3rd floor. But I would not otherwise stay here unless I had to.... More

Stayed for a video game convention in the spring. It was a nice hotel with a good view however it was not that close to anything convenient. I felt like once we got back to the hotel that it was a chore to go back out for basics. We loved the warm cookies and room service was ok. The hotel... More
