I stayed at the Bulfinch with my husband and son May 12-15, 2012. It far exceeded our expectations for the price. Yes, the rooms are a bit small, but the bathrooms are quite large! The rooms are comfortable and offer everything you need including a very comfy bed with nice linens and plenty of pillows. The hotel staff was amazing... More

Taxi journey from the airport cost about $20 including tip even though it wasn't that far but goes through a toll tunnel. Staff were very helpful when we arrived and gave us a map and advice on places to go. The rooms are slightly on the small side but still have everything you need in them, the only thing that... More

The Bulfinch is a no-frills place. I understand in a big city for the rooms to be small. I was not expecting some moldy corners in the bathroom and furniture that was very beat up looking like it came from a dorm room sale. In 2012, it is disappointing to not have wireless service. The location is good for the... More

I expected much more from this hotel, given it's sold as a boutique hotel. I didn't have a bad experience at all. Everything was just average. There was nothing special about the place and nothing to write home about. My biggest issue with this property and the one and only reason why I won't go back is that they don't... More

Desk staff was nice but did not inform me of the painting/remodel on my floor. No luggage rack or place to store suitcase. No laundry bag to store used workout stuff. Workout room - only three machines. Grout needed attendtion in shower. No coffee service in the morning, NO WIFI upstairs-only in the lobby = bad for business travel. Spend a... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here April 11-15 2012... Our room was small but it served its purpose for us while we explored!! We were in town for the Red Sox opening weekend and we even got to go to a Bruins playoff game in between all of our sightseeing! We did enjoy the Bulfinch. It's very expensive to stay... More

We were so excited to be heading back to Boston but disappointed at the incredible cost of accommodation in the city. We found the Bullfinch online, and it seemed to tick a lot of boxes - which is true. The hotel rooms are small but contain all you need for a place to rest after a day of exploring. They... More

Thank you so much for your review of our hotel! Our hotel is located in the West End neighborhood of Boston, an up-and-coming district where new stores and restaurants are opening up at a rapid pace, and vitalizing the district. While this neighborhood was once located under an underpass, it has grown, and continues to grow, and there are now... More

I travel to Boston once or twice a year for work in the North End. After staying at several other Hotels, gave the Bulfinch a try and glad I did. It is everything I want in a Hotel...clean rooms, good service, reasonbly priced, and a great (safe) convenient, location, location, location! Needless to say, I have been staying there the... More

Thank you so much for your glowing review of our hotel! We greatly appreciate the comments you made about our staff, hotel, and location! Indeed, our location is great because we are so close to many of the tourist attractions that people associate with Boston (Fanueil Hall, Bunker Hill monument, Beacon Hill, and the North End). We look forward to... More

Just a few steps from td garden. Very convenient to Faneuil hall and government center. Room comfortable size. Furniture looked tired. Paint job in our room was the worst ever seen. Blue splotches from paint all ever headboard. One elevator. Front desk staff indifferent. Good location for our purpose. More

I stayed four nights for business. Main reason I select this hotel was just location and price. The hotel locate very near from T(Boston Subway) stations, Haymarket, Bowdin, North Station, and also Charles. In fact, there are some small problems. The hotel has free Ethernet connection, but cable in the room I stayed was short and I could not use... More
