What one thinks of the Omni will largely depend on your mood. Trouble for me is that Boston is too nice a place to put me in the mood for the Omni ! The Omni Parker House is lifted straight from midtown New York ....locked somewhere in between the 1930's and 1950's ...with austere and dark large reception hall. Now... More

My experience at the Omni Parker was mixed. For the cost I expected more. This hotel is elegant and clean. The staff is very friendly and professional. The rooms are small, and the bathroom is very, very small (toilet seat lid essential for toiletries). If you rely on a comfortable mattress in a hotel of this quality, you may be... More

A really nice, old-fashioned, “grand hotel”. Welcoming staff at check-in. Room of a decent overall size but much of it taken up by the two queen beds. Means you do have to navigate yourself round the room somewhat carefully. Reasonable amount of storage with useful extras like a coffee maker, iron and ironing board. There seems to be little sound... More

Stayed here for a week for my first trip to Boston. The hotel is old, but it is historical. It is in the middle of everything. It is in walking distance of several subway stations. So many things are within a mile of this place. We got there before check in. They stored our bags and called us to let... More

My wife and I just spent the last 4 days at the Omni Parker House in Boston. Our second time in three years. We love the central location to all of the exciting sights, restaurants, parks, and the T. This is a quality hotel with a great staff. Well worth the money. This is the oldest continuously-operating hotel in the... More

Our stay in this ole hotel which maintains period features is quite pleasant. The rooms are somewhat small however quite comfortable with the most comfortable beds I have been in. The only down side is that one side of the hotel, which is where we stayed looks into a brick wall with rooms facing you. You have to keep your... More

Location is nice...and that's about it. Hotel is old. Room was gloomy and old and in need of help: couch had cigarette burns and stains on it to where I didn't even want to sit on it. Closet had a funny smell - hung clothes in bathroom to avoid having them pick up the smell. Glad I brought slippers with... More

As the longest continuously operating hotel in America, the Omni Parker House has an historical nature that appeals to most but, admittedly, not all travelers. We regret that this guest didn’t have the typical experience of our property or provide us with the opportunity to address concerns while staying with us, as we would have worked hard to improve his/her... We got a rate on Hotwire which was fantastic for that time of year and downtown Boston in general (apparently). It was $190 usd per night for a Friday, Saturday and sunday night. It was a standard room. Upon check-in, we found out the standard room is a double bed... In a very narrow small room. I'm never one to... More

My husband and I try to stay here everytime we go to Boston. Last time we did get a tiny room and bed though. And it was incredibly stuffy and hot stuffy all night. Oh well, the location is perfect and it is very "old money", which is what like. Regardless, we'll be back. More

This was the second time my husband and I stayed at the Omni, the last time being in 2006. We looked forward to our return and were excited to see that renovations had been made since then. We were sorely disappointed. Our room was tiny, easily half the size of what we had last time and the wallpaper was peeling.... More

Thank you for reviewing our hotel. Being a downtown Boston hotel, with a location just as big as our history, we acknowledge that some of our guest rooms are on the smaller side, but we do have several room types for guests to choose when making a reservation. From our smallest- the Economy Petite (double bed), Traditional room (double bed),... More
