Had an experience of staying here in June, 2013. Centrally located hotel with great ambiance... very helpful staff and friendly too. being located in Boston common, its one of the best area to live in Boston and TAJ has its name... Only thing i missed is a pool....

We stayed at the Taj in late April for a conference. The hotel was a little worn down and in need of some sprucing up, but it was clean and the service was excellent! We especially enjoyed the location across from the park and close to restaurants and shopping.

An absolutely gorgeous property, perfectly situated to explore Boston. Although a little faded, there is still an elegance about the Taj Boston that makes it a comfortable alternative to the usual chain hotels. The service is far above par, making up for the dated furnishings and finishes. The Cafe provides a lovely atmosphere for people watching, and the location overlooking the park delightful. This was my second visit to The Taj Boston and I must say it just gets better. The erstwhile Ritz Carlton, the hotel retains a lot of its old charm and all of its fabulous service standards. The hotel is usually always busy but this time it was almost overflowing. We still got fabulous rooms and great service.
