This was the smallest hotel room I have EVER had - about the size of an interior room on a cruise ship. The room was the size of a closet; in fact, it didn't even have a closet, but a free-standing armior that was only large enough to hold a few items of clothing. No room to set up a... More

We stayed for 3 nights and found the hotel and staff to be lovely. The room was averagely sized and was clean ,although they are nor in the process of upgrading all the rooms I read another review that said it was a scary area, I wasn't scared, we found it pretty central and the bars and restaurants around were... There is some renovation going on in the hotel, but still apart from the downtown location in the theater district, there is very little that could be mentioned as positives. The staff were very courteous and friendly, but it still did not make up adequately. The rooms were old, dusty and small. The restroom was small, with not enough space... More

As a loyal Marriott Gold Member, I was beyond disappointed by my experience at this hotel. Apart from the fortune cookie (really!?) that contained a few extra points, there was no recognition of my status. No additional benefits at all. But onto the important stuff..... The front desk staff was okay. The room was baaaad. It was European small. And... More

Enjoyed the Courtyard very much. Very clean. Friendly and willing staff. Was close to everything in Boston. Restaurants and shops down the road. More

We got this hotel as a deal using 'name your price' on Priceline. I don't know what this hotel normally costs per night but for the same rate as a B&B with a shared bathroom and a double bed we got a clean room with a king size bed. This is not fancy at all. The rooms are small and... More

I don't understand the negative reviews. Yes it is an old hotel, and yes it is currently being renovated. But it was pretty decent as it is, other than some stains here and there. Rooms are small but hey rooms in big city hotels are always small. Staff is very friendly and makes up for any shortcomings of the property. More

I have stayed here 3 times in sat 6 months. I like the location and the price. I won't repeat details of the general themes - small, heat/AC fiasco, great staff. But there was a ray of hope. Under my door the last day was a letter with an apology for possible noise issues because they were going to be... More

Great location. Exactly what you'd expect from a very old historic building. Small rooms, even smaller bathroom. Room temperature is not really under your control (hot in the late afternoon but survivable by bedtime). Only one computer in the "business center". You won't be able to fid a better price this close to it all so it is a good... More

Location, location - Theater district. Walk everywhere in 10 minutes. Try the flagship Legal Seafoods only two blocks away - I been to all of them, in my opinion - this is the nicest Legal Seafoods! I was there the first week of May. Rooms are small, but who cares, you are out sightseeing all day! The lobby is historic... More
