Once we arrived, we didn't get back in the car for three days! The breakfast was delicious, and the rooms very comfortable. The bathroom was nice and large and well appointed. Our hosts were also very friendly. The only down side was the San Diego airport. You're right in the flight path and it's definitely loud. The good thing is... More

We just returned from three nights at the Keating House Inn. The owners couldn't have been more hospitable and the Inn was exactly as described. We stayed in the yellow room, which was quite large. The bed was very comfortable and the room was tastefully decorated. Ideal for couples and business travelers. Great location. Would most certainly recommend. More

This Hotel is truly a luxury boutique hotel in the Gaslamp District. It is so unique especially since it is old - well historic, yet updated in comfort and style. It is so convenient to the airport and all that the new downtown San Diego has to offer - all within walking distance. And the personal concierge is so helpful... More

We really enjoyed our stay, The location was great, nice restaurants within walking distance and Balboa park! Our room had a private entrance, very 1890's but comfortable. Bed was nice, felt like a small queen size. The owners were very nice and helpful. Parking is a bit of a challenge but we managed to find a space, albeit with a... More

This is one of the best run B&B I have ever seen. It is conveniently located a couple of blocks from Balboa park and within a walking distance to Downtown and Little Italy. The neighborhood is quiet and safe with many nice cafes and restaurants. Whole foods grocery is a couple blocks away. The old villa where the B&B is... More

The location of this bed and breakfast is superb for exploring San Diego. Located just blocks from Balboa Park and near bus lines downtown. Hosts, Doug and Ben, are very helpful and gave us recommendations for places to eat, things to see and how to get there. Breakfasts have been good every day...always had fresh fruit. Hope to return. This restored 1888 house is wonderful for sleeping, doing your own thing or joining in with conversation with owners or other travelers. Perfect for the introvert or extrovert person. Ben & Doug are knowledgeable about the area--places to visit, where to eat, how to easily get around. The breakfasts are the best of any B&B I've stayed in--delicious and lovely... More

My wife and I spent 3 nights at Keating House on the recommendation of friends. We were very pleased that we stayed there. It was close to all the things that make San Diego a wonderful place to visit. Our room was great value for money and the breakfast was healthy and satisfying. We also enjoyed the company of other... This was the perfect place to stay. It was quiet, the owners are very nice and helpful, and the breakfasts were delicious. They even let us stay an extra day after our flight was cancelled. If you're going to San Diego and don't want to stay in a faceless hotel, this place is an absolute delight. More
