We reserved the entire bungalow; 2 adjacent rooms for 4 adults and twin toddlers. Our rooms were spacious enough, although in need of some upgrades. Rust was seen behind doors; paint patching and tile patches that didn't quite fit...just as others are saying. I am a member of their hotel program and apparently this doesn't matter to this particular resort.... More

We tacked on a stay here at the end of a stay in San Diego for a conference. It's quite an old resort by the looks of it, but immaculately kept. The staff were pretty much uniformly cheerful and helpful We had a large "garden" room with an adequate bedroom, a slightly disappointingly-furnished bathroom, but a large sitting area that... More

We stayed at this resort for 3 nights. As we were busy every day exploring San Diego, we didn't get to use any of the facilities or the "included" facilities in our $17 per day resort fee. Our girls enjoyed the immediate access to the beach from our bayside bungalow. Even though you wouldn't swim in the water, they enjoyed... More

If you suffer from arachnophobia keep away! Upon our arrival we were welcomed by two such creatures only to find out that there were more of the same throughout the resort. We were told that spiders are common to that location and if you don't mind paying $300/night this could be the place for you! The room also offered some... More

For the amount that the resort charges, I expected a lot more. We stayed in a bayview bungalow with a connecting regular room. It looks like the resort underwent some recent renovations, but all they really did was add a fresh coat of paint, some new furniture and new flooring. Pros: 1. Location - short drive or longer walk to... More

This was the end of a girls trip down Highway 1. Was very nice to relax at this resort. We did upgrade to a bungalow which was right on the ocean. Not really sure if it was worth the extra money or not. Yes it is nice being right on the sand, but most of the rooms are very close... More

We live here in San Diego and after staying a few nights at Paradise Point for a corporate meeting back in January, I thought it would be fun to take our 4-year old son there for a staycation before his baby sister is born in July. I had received SUCH great service during my work meeting that I figured we... More

Spent a lovely Mother's Day weekend at the resort. Lots of fun activities at the resort like bicycling and miniature golf and close to other fun stuff to do. The rooms are really lovely and large. The staff was great, really made us feel welcome when we arrived. We had a room that was very close to the bay. Loved... More

We loved everything about our stay. We were there in the shoulder season so it wasn't super busy. Loved the grounds and the amenities. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Loved that the ducks would wait at the door to be fed. Beautiful grounds and loved the room. More

Without a doubt the worst hotel we have ever stayed at for the money. At $400 per night we expected something a little better than a Motel 6. Having just come from the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Beach (which was cheaper) we were completely let down. The room was OK but the bathroom was disgusting. We couldn't wait to leave.... More
