We stayed here the night before a week vacation, and used their parking and airport shuttle service. The manager was very friendly on checkin, and the shuttle driver was very talkative and friendly. Clean hotel, very friendly staff. Close to the airport and shuttle every hour to the airport, but you need to make reservations when checking-in, otherwise it is often full. The hotel is located just beside the highway and it can be heard with windows closed in the rooms facing-it: beware! A bit outdated but still very clean. More

If you're going to San Diego and want to stay near the Gas Lamp District or downtown, you'll find most hotels VERY pricey. With a friendly staff, clean, relatively spacious rooms for the price that include a refrigerator, microwave, free internet and extended breakfast hours, it's too bad that noise from the freeway is so loud. I'm a heavy sleeper, so it didn't keep me awake, but it was unpleasant. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless freeway noise really doesn't bother you. More
