We thoroughly enjoyed our time in San Diego Old Town and this hotel is in walking distance. San Diego Old Town has great bars and restaurants, and you can catch the Light Rail and San Diego Trolley. The Trolley was a great way to see all of San Diego. Our room was large, clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was... More

We stayed here the night before a week vacation, and used their parking and airport shuttle service. The manager was very friendly on checkin, and the shuttle driver was very talkative and friendly. We were concerned about road noise from I-5, but we couldn't hear a thing from our room. We would definitely stay here again. More

Spent one night in this hotel before flying home. Reception friendly and efficient at check-in, rooms clean and beds comfy. Booked free shuttle on check-in but when I checked again later that evening, there had been an error and I found myself without a shuttle and needing to pay for a taxi. The next morning, got up at 4 -a.m.... More

Clean hotel, very friendly staff. Close to the airport and shuttle every hour to the airport, but you need to make reservations when checking-in, otherwise it is often full. The hotel is located just beside the highway and it can be heard with windows closed in the rooms facing-it: beware! A bit outdated but still very clean. More

If you're going to San Diego and want to stay near the Gas Lamp District or downtown, you'll find most hotels VERY pricey. Howevere, this hotel is off the beaten path in Old Town and you can get for a lot less. They offer free breakfast, free wifi, and have free shuttle to and from the airport, to the GasLamp... More

With a friendly staff, clean, relatively spacious rooms for the price that include a refrigerator, microwave, free internet and extended breakfast hours, it's too bad that noise from the freeway is so loud. I'm a heavy sleeper, so it didn't keep me awake, but it was unpleasant. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless freeway noise really doesn't bother you. More

This hotel is right next to the freeway, and though we got used to the noise it would not be good for light sleepers. It is also a long way from Old Town. We stayed on the 2nd floor, and whenever the people above us walked, the ceiling squeaked real loud, and sleeping was difficult. The hotel has a shuttle... More

Hotel was clean - Good Hotel staff was friendly - Good Convenient location - Good Neighborhood sketchy - Not so good Room was noisy - other tenants loud, I think an elephant was staying in the room above us. The traffic from the highway was loud, the train was our own personal alarm and the airplanes were just an added... More

My wife and I stayed here for four days in April 2012. The rate was excellent for the quality of service the hotel provides. Most places in San Diego charge for parking and Internet, both were free and that was a nice surprise. The breakfast was just alright, but free made it better - cinnamon rolls, eggs, pancakes, coffee, juice,... More

I was leary to book a hotel near the airport as they are usually pretty worn. This was defintely a pleasant surprise! Newly updated, within walking distance to Old Town and very convenient to airport. We stayed our first and last night and it worked very well for us! The hotel staff was VERY helpful and very intentive! Would highly... More
