This is by far the worst hotel I have ever had the displeasure of staying at. You do not have enough space on the review portion to list all the things wrong with this place. I stayed at the hotel twice to see if maybe we got a less than desirable room because of the rate we got but no,... More

This is my third stay at the Mission Valley Resort and I am once again compelled to write another review. Located in the hotel circle, this hotel offers it all. Clean, comfortable rooms, nicely maintained grounds and, the best part, pretty incredible mid week value rates. Each of the rooms offers free wi-fi, and a coffee maker, two of the... More

To call this establishment tied would be a compliment. Where to start? Some of the reception staff were less than helpfully, trying to get information out of them was like pulling teeth. The Room had 2 double beds in it which had the most anorexic pillows I've seen. The paint was chiped and faded, and it had an unpleasant musty(nursing... More

The website is a fraud!!!! Pure and simple this place is a dump. The rooms are dated, paint chipping off the walls. Toilets so low to the floor that various parts of a man's anatomy touch the water in the bowl. If this is classified as a "Resort" someone needs to have their head examined ....or look up "Resort" in... More

The pictures are definitely deceiving. We got a room that was located right next to the janitors closet so it was always busy by our room and noisy. The bedding had cigarette holes and stains on top of it being very old and thin. The paint job in the bathroom was done halfast, they started up one side of the... More

.This is not a ' resort ' it is a poor example of a motel. The room / bathroom were unclean, the sheets were suspect, other bedding had probably been on the bed for months. (I got a rash on my legs, which was not there before being in that room.) Miserable staff, make you sign disclaimers about smoking, pets... More

I use other reviews' views very often, but I also like to form my own opinion. So, I decided to stay at MVR in San Diego due to the great location and great price. I stayed at the property two different times in early 2012. Here is my view: -this property IS NOT A RESORT. it is a motel. -the... More

my first impression was walking in the lobby and the girl behind the desk arguing with a customer about room service.....then I requested a smoking room and she put me in a non-smoking room.....room was adequate, but old and grimy.....and guess what? the keys sometimes worked and sometimes not...order room service? not for 15.00 for a cheesburger...good god...whole place seemed... I checked into the hotel with the intention of renting 2 superior doubles for 3 nights each. I was given the rooms for 1 night and told that I can renew the rooms the next morning as there was some sort of "block" that could not be explained. The next morning i went to the office and was told by... More

This is the 3rd Year that I have stayed at this Motel/Hotel Resort. They must be doing something right. Though the facilities may be old, they've maintained it very well. The rooms I have stayed in varied in size and comfort with how much I've been willing to pay. The onsite gym closed but they gave me coupons to a... More
