This hotel offers a decent price for the area. However, they seem to add in a lot of hidden fees and if you do not get a newer room you will be disappointed. They have 2 decent sized pools and hot tubs that were always filled with young families. We were lucky to get a newer room which was clean... More

We had a deluxe room on the first floor where we could walk out our patio to the Bay. Large room with 2 queen beds that were very comfortable. Room service was great, the food came hot, priced right, and very good. We got a great deal, 1/2 off the regular price so it was well worth the money. Took... More

Nice rooms and a great location. Makes a great base for a San Diego vacation. We had a party in the Mission Bay area to go to, so we decided to make this a mini vacation and stay in the area. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We ate breakfast the next morning at the Blue Pearl on site,... More

This was my favourite hotel out of our whole California experience! It was incredibly well priced, all the staff are amazing, both restaurants were fantastic and well priced, amazing beautiful grounds, two pools/spas, right on the marina, walking distance from Mission Beach, handy to public transport (bus stops outside and a $12 cab ride from Oldtown Transit Centre) right next... I booked a top level room with a marina view for our anniversary. When I got there the front desk person said that we had been given an upgrade (aren't they good)... the upgrade was a bottom level room, twice the size and right by the parking lot which means that we heard the conversations of just about everyone out... I can't think of a better place to stay; we had a "base" room on the ground floor. Simple two queen beds and bath/vanity. A micro and refrig are located under the sink countertop. From our door to the Mission Bay was about 100 feet! I've seen others say that you should consider an upgrade to the newer rooms; and... More

For the location and the price you'd think you'd be getting something great for your money. Not the case. Most hotels have check in by 3 but usually have your room ready hours earlier. The Dana has checkin by 4. We had a wedding at 4:15 and our room wasn't ready until 3:15. They certainly had that 4pm check time... More

Perfect location for this Seaworld addict. Kayaking with the seals was a bonus. Firefly bar was nice and relaxed. Get the brussel sprouts. :) Breakfast at the restaurant has full menu and delicious and large portions. Romm was very comfortable with great view ver the marina. Only down 1 star because the beds are not attached to wall and neighbours... More

This has now become our favorite hotel to stay in on the bay. We stayed last year and thought it was great, returned again this year and were again so pleased. Starting with the service from the staff, very helpful, pleasant and informative. Then the Sleep like a Baby pkg. is so all inclusive that there is no better deal... More

We were lucky enough to find an amazing hotel deal on travelzoo that gave us an unbeatable rate at the Dana. When we arrived, we were offered an upgrade to a king bedroom with a balcony facing the bay for a very modest fee. We did it and boy are we glad we did! They let us check out the... More
