I've stayed here several times for business. The upper East Side location was a little inconvenient for a rash of mid-town and downtown meetings, but the trade-off was having a different kind of experience. There's a more personal and relaxed feel here that is missing in the typical high-end business-oriented properties. Staff is friendly. Rooms have tons of great amenities,... More

We recently had a fabulous stay at The Mark hotel. Everything from the service to the rooms to the aesthetics of the hotel was perfect. Aesthetically, the hotel is beautiful, elegant, and sophisticated. Located on a beautiful and quiet tree-lined street on the Upper East Sid, it is removed from the hustle and bustle of the city and within walking... More

Fantastic service, lovely rooms, nice location, and sadly in this day and age if you want any kind of service you have to pay for it, no point paying for a sub standard 4 star, might as well pull up a bit more and get treated properly, in lovely surrounding, nice bar area. More

My husband and I stayed at The Mark Hotel April 4th & 5th, 2012. It is located in the tony upper east side. Great designer shops in the area, good restaurants & delis. Our room was lovely & very roomy, and completely equipped with a great mini bar, in- room ice maker, cocktail glasses, drinking glasses, complimentaryl bottled water each... More

I recently booked 3 nights accommodation at The Mark. I have been to NYC many, many times, normally staying downtown at the likes of: The Bowery; Soho Grand; Mercer etc. On this trip I decided it might be nice to do something totally different for the first few nights of my 12 day stay and book a good hotel uptown... The mark has nice rooms and very friendly and attentive staff in the registration and the lobby. However, we were disappointed to be waken up by a 4:00pm visit from a guy who was checking the minibar, not knowing that we just checked in, tired and snoozing for a few minutes. Furthermore, a bellman tried to get into the elevator... More

We stayed at the Mark Hotel with our children to celebrate mom's fiftieth birthday. We booked two Madison King suites and could't have been more delighted. They are joined by a separate foyer which can be used privately when both rooms are used by the same guests. We loved the new bathrooms, the Sub Zero mini-bar systems, the technology "tablet"... We spent five sterling nights in April at the Mark on the Upper East Side (UES) of Manhattan. It was in a word 'superb'. Check in was quick and easy and they have at least five folks standing at the entrance during busy periods to ensure all is running smoothly. We signed up for the Leaders Club and booked the... More

Room was clean and bathroom very nice but service is spotty. Housekeeping and bar people rude & not up to par on dealing with hotel guests. No where to sit once the bar gets busy (6:00) It took asking to see the manager of restaurant & bar to be able to have a 20 minute drink in the restaurant with... More

This hotel is supurb! The staff and concierge very good, never dissappointing. The rooms are wonderful and we were able to get a suite for an excellant weekend price. although still pricey. The hotel has been refurbished, true luxury. Its seems to be popular with entertainers and good for extended visits because of the suites with kitchenettes and generous closet... More
