Second time at 1871 House. No surprise. Fantastic location and atmosphere. Friendly and nice staff. The B&B is perfectly located 5 mnutes from Central Park and 5th Avenue. Being one of the most rated residential area staying at 1871 House makes you feel a true newyorker.

I agree with the previous review ...has potential if hot water and cleanliness issues are addressed. Anyone interested in the Victorian style pays attention to those details.
