Although rooms are a little on the small side, the New Yorker couldn't be better located for sightseeing and close to all transport links. Beds are possibly the most comfortable I've ever experienced in a hotel! The Tick Tock Diner downstairs is also great for breakfast and feels like an authentic New York experience.

Reception staff were efficient on check in. I had emailed ahead for a room with a safe, this had been organised. We asked for a high floor & got 27, so everything was good.
