I flew to NYC for a dinner last year and stayed one night at the Hotel Chandler. My room on the 4th floor facing 35th was a bit small, but surprisingly quiet and perfectly clean. The hotel bar was a bit quiet, but there are plenty of other great spots within walking distance.
