Your room will be tiny and the breakfast room is so small that you might have to get up to let people get by, but it was clean, nicely appointed (flat screen tv on the wall) and the staff was very friendly. You are in walking distance of the Brooklyn Bridge, South Seaport, Wall St. and Battery Park. I would... More

Overall, we had a pleasant two-night stay. Here are the highlights and not-so-highlights: Highlights: - Inexpensive relative to other similar hotels - Very nice staff; one of whom even lent me her iPhone charger as I forgot mine - Great parking option across the street (Hotel validation gets $20/day rate) - Short (10 minutes) walk to subway (Fulton St. or... We were only in town for one night and wanted to economize on our accommodations so we tried this hotel. The hotel is very easy to locate, and the parking (across the street) is a New York bargain at $20/night. Our room was spotlessly clean, the bed extremely comfortable, and the shower was great. My only complaint was the lack... More

We stayed here over a four day weekend. Our room was neat, clean (fresh linen every day), and recently redecorated. Of course, it was "New York size", but entirely adequate for the purpose. I was especially pleased with the friendly, helpful, staff. They went out of their way to chat and inquire about my visit. The free breakfast was surprisingly... More

I am a 65 year old woman who was visiting NYC on business after a long illness kept me off the road. This was a good location for me as my client was 1.5 blocks away. Check in was perfect and I got a ground floor room on the back (quiet) side with a lovely little terrace, Room 103. No... More

We were very lucky to find this hotel for our visit to New York. The room was actually penthouse with balcony on the west side and the views were accordingly just marvellous. Staff was nice, price wasn't that bad, room was clean and even the breakfast was decent. This hotel is most definitely very good value for your money. More

Generally, this location is what you would expect from a Hampton Inn. The rooms are clean, albeit somewhat small since this is NYC after all. The staff are friendly. The included breakfast is pretty much what you'd get at any other Hampton inn: edible, but nothing to write home about. The prices are usually pretty good for NYC (weekdays are... More
