“Nice for US Standards but Worst Mandarin Oriental I Have Ever Stayed At”

I stayed at the Mandarin for work for 3 days in May. The hotel is very nice but felt quite "average" for a 5-star hotel and certainly not worth the US$895 room rate. “Disappointing overpriced hotel”

The location of the hotel is great, and so is the view from the lobby bar, but this is about it. The rooms are pretty ordinary and old fashioned (considering how recently the hotel was built), and not very big.
