Not really the boutique hotel depicted on its website. However, my room was huge for New York standards and the bed was comfortable but the towels were thin and rough. Had a kitchenette with a stove and fridge but no microwave and really bad metal cabinets. Good location but would sacrafice the large room and stay at the W for... More

Affinia 50 is a great hotel. Location: easy to go everywhere walking, by bus or subway. Area is busy during the day but with few tourists. Lots of shops, cafes, delis, markets and restaurantes within walking distance. Felt very safe. The hotel: not modern, but not dated either. Everthing works just fine and is well maintained. Very, very clean indeed.... More

Was looking for a large room for 3 with 2 queen beds. Hard to find in NYC but found this to be perfect. Great location near 50th and Lexington. Friendly, accommodating staff. Only down side was the very small bathroom. Would definitely stay there again. More

This is a good hotel, very polite helpful staff. Rooms were clean, suites spacious and beds were very comfortable. Complimentary breakfast would have been a plus. We did feel that a bar would be a welcome addition to this hotel, so a drink to round off our days would have given this hotel 5's all round. But overall you could... More

We stayed April 26th on the 22nd floor and had a great view of the evening lights. When we checked in the desk clerk gave us a map and helped us find the WTC memorial subway route, and (third shift?) door man was friendly and helpful - finding an umbrella for me early on a rainy Friday morning because I... We arrived for our 10 night stay at Affinia 50 to find we had been upgraded to a Penthouse Apartment! How amazing - even a bottle of Champagne waiting for us to help celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. Fabulous spacious apartment with balconies overlooking 50th & 3rd. Staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful especially Rome and his fellow doormen... More

Affinia 50 is a cute, small, friendly "boutique" hotel. The room was quite spacious by New York standards, with a desk area, cupboards, armchair and a FABULOUS kingsize bed with a wonderful mattress and an amazing choice of pillows. The bathroom was large and had a bath as well as a shower. There is a bit of traffic noise, distant sirens... More

I stayed at Affinia 50 two nights for work. The doorman ran to help all four of us with our bags and welcomed us HOME! Very kind and helpful. Very comfy beds standard rooms. $350 a night doesn't get you much in NYC. 50th street and 3rd ave in NYC for work is one thing for play I'd suggest anything... More

stayed at this hotel for 9 nights (28 March-7 April). After 20hrs flying it was great to have efficient check in service and whisked away to our room promptly which was on 15th floor. Minimal noise experienced on this level. Junior suite had 2 queen beds and sofa bed with plenty of room to accomodae 2 adults & 8yr old... More
