Stayed three nights: yes, the rooms are a bit small but the location can't be beat, the employees are waaaaay customer-oriented, and everything was clean and efficient. Would definitely stay there again (if we had any Marriott points left). More

I stayed two nights in the Courtyard after one night at the full service Marriott in mid-town which was a crazy $500 per night. There was no difference in the room and the location and ambiance of the Courtyard was nicer for much less money. The service was friendlly and the cafe/diner off the lobby was great. Although still expensive... More

We stayed in New York for several days as a mini-honeymoon, and had found a great rate at this hotel. Neither of us had stayed in the Upper East Side before, so weren't familiar with the neighborhood, but it was really nice. It has a slower pace than downtown. The subway is a little bit of a walk (we used... More

We were in the city to do a college tour and booked this hotel because it was cost effective and on the UES. The room was clean and not too small. Three adults had just enough room. It is pretty close to a subway stop and some great restaurants. The staff was very nice and professional. We kind of felt... More

It took some time to find the hotel because it blends with the office building around it. I drove around the block several time trying to see where I could pull over and park. Eventually I figured it out... There is a garage further on the street on the left. If you drop off your car it's $20 (the hotel... More

Convenient location if you enjoy walking and checking out NYC neighborhoods. Good, attentive Marriott Service from the bell stand to the front desk to housekeeping. Comfortable rooms. They are small, but so are all rooms in NYC! Nice pool, check out the sauna and steam room in the Health Club. Have stayed here several times over several years and it... More

Everything about this hotel is great except for the size of the bed. We had a room with two double beds that fet more like twins. Definitely get a king room if you stay here. The location is perfect and much better than the W Hotel Times Square. But I wouldn't recommend the sushi bar there.it isn't that great. More

Very small rooms. Had to change first room because of heavy smoke odor. Had to be there because of work in our apartment, felt like we were being punished. More

The rooms here were very comfortable, quiet and well-appointed (including irons). Bathroom very good too, and very clean. A good view from a high-rise window was pleasant too. In the nearby area there are plenty of interesting restaurants and bars. The big down-side to this hotel is it is a moderate distance (up a hill) to the nearest Subway station,... More

Really off the beaten path. I needed a room fairly quickly, and needed to be uptown. This hotel was reasonable for Marriott in Manhattan (i.e.< $400). It is very miuch in a residential neighborhood, but there are places to eat nearby. It is VERY far on the East Side, and no easy way to get to anything touristy. The staff... More
