Well I must say Jack and Judy are SO nice and really make you feel comfortable. I have nothing but lovely things to say about this place, they helped us set up our internet when it wouldnt work and went out of thier way to make our stay a good one. One thing you may wish to know its about... More

We stayed for 10 nights in JJ and we have no complains at all. We did a deep research looking for our accommodation in NY, and we knew exactly what we want: an apartment-like room, in a nice location that would allow us to live like NY residents; we didn’t need room service or other amenities. We had arrived late... More

I have mixed feelings about this place. We stayed here a couple of years ago and were generally quite happy so we booked it again. Not sure they should call it a bed and breakfast, especially since they no longer provide the bagels they used to. When I asked, Jack said they stopped doing it because they had to throw... More

We arrived at 8pm in the evening and it took forever to find out how to get in to the property. Eventually Rowena came and let us in and asked us to read a piece of paper which had the information on it about the rental issue in NYC and said if anyone approaches you to say you are here... More

Great location for those that don't want to be in the hustle and bustle. Cool old building. Close walk to central park, museum, and Zabars deli. Great way to save money as we were able to make breakfast or lunch at the apartment. Overall really happy with our decision to stay there. More

After having made the reservation I found out about the short term rental issues in New York, and I didn't want to stay in an illegal apartment, so after some more research and emails to the owner I decided to go ahead with the 3 day rental. It seems like the law is quite unclear and that legitimate B&Bs who... More

We were recommended this B & B by a friend who had stayed there. We read the reviews and knew mostly what to expect. Judy was very helpful with our reservation and we paid the deposit by pay pal. She answered all my questions in a timely manner and before I went I thought I had picked the right spot.... More

This is a lovely old brownstone on the upper west side, a block from Central Park & the Natural History Museum. It's a friendly pretty safe neighbourhood, but still with enough buzz to be interesting. Basically you get to play "I live in NYC" for the period of your stay. There are big comfy beds, huge TVs, wifi internet, a... More

The studio with kitchen was perfect for our family's visit to NYC. It's only a block from the American Museum of Natural History and Central Park, and within easy walking distance of great art museums like the MET and Guggenheim. While it's not strictly a B&B, they provide fresh bagels, milk & OJ on arrival and the kitchen was stocked... More

A friendly B&B on the upper west side provided a wonderful week end experience in New York City., Jack answered the door and took my suitcase up three flights to my studio apartment with nice kitchen. Bagels, cream cheese, orange juice, milk, and cereal were provided. The location is great for visitors to the city. Museums, shopping, Central Park, and restaurants... More
