We booked the Bowery for our anniversary specifically due to it’s: location, reviews, ambiance, sophistication and timelessness. We planned our trip several months in advance so we were able to secure a rate we were comfortable with. We were within walking distance to some of New York City’s most popular neighborhoods with ample dinning, shopping and bars. We stayed in... More

This was my third time staying at the Bowery Hotel. Each stay has been met with the same consistency which is an excellent, but rare trait among hotels these days. The overall feel of the Bowery is very hip with a crowd that ranges from business to rock and from 20s to 70s in age. The hotel has a very... More

My husband and I loved everything from the personable doormen to the friendly desk clerks to the clean guestrooms that boast of character. I would love to replicate our entire home to mirror the design of our room's decor. The ONLY thing that turned our nose up a bit was the behavior of the server in the bar area when... More

Our stay at The Bowery was a wonderful experience. This classy place had everything I had hoped for - from a great corner room to great service to all the accouterments one should expect. While a bit pricey - but so much is in NYC - this place had years of magic stored in it and it is all there... More

Very much enjoyed my stay at the Bowery. The corner room was comfortable with a great view of the Empire State Building. Nice lobby with a fireplace. Walking distance to many great restaurants and bars but a bit pricey for my tastes. I would go back but may try something else in the same area. More

The thing that impressed me the most about this hotel, was that the whole thing was a new build. It's been done so well, with such attention to detail and high level of finish. The location is really great too. I can remember the area being pretty much no go several years ago. The hotel has these really charismatic doormen,... More

We really enjoyed staying here for a long weekend in April. The atmosphere is old-world super cool, the service is excellent and the lobby and bar scene is remarkable - plus, as a hotel guest, they will literally ask other people to move over or leave to make room for you. Same goes for the attached always-crowded and excellent Italian... More

Staying at The Bowery Hotel was a treat. It was pricey, but I enjoyed my visit immensely and recommend this hotel wholeheartedly. The room was immaculate: clean, bright and welcoming, with lovely views of the East Village. The hotel remains faithful to its period architecture and design, without sacrificing any modern amenities. It was so quiet in the mornings, but... More

Midtown Manhattan is for the first time tourist to NYC, who wants to stay near the Big Broadway theaters, Times Square, etc. Great place to stay if you want noise and to see tourists from every where in the world. But if you know NYC, or want to know it, you'll be staying down in SoHo or Lower East Side,... More

I selected the Bowery after reading reviews on TripAdvisor on the hotels located in the lower east side. I couldn't have been happier with our choice. It was such a refreshing change from other hotels in New York, which tend to be too modern and contemporary to be practical or comfortable. This hotel is welcoming, cozy, chic and original. The...
