What could be better than staying at this fabulous hotel within such a beautiful part of New York City? Imagine early mooring runs in Central Park followed by a luxurious breakfast and shopping on Fifth Avenue. Reservations are needed well in advance for the breakfast which is served in a leisurely fashion amidst the finery. Downstairs is a restaurant area... More

We stayed at the Plaza for 4days. This was my first experience a the plaza. Unfornately for usit was not the best because of the services. i was thinking maybe i went to the Plaza at the wrong time and there'is no service and we have to wait 40minutes on SUNDAY to have a breakfast at the entry mostly where... While staying at the "W Times Square" which I would HIGHLY recommend - a friend and I dropped in at The Plaza just to say we had been there. Upon our arrival, there was a man extremely unhappy with his service in the Afternoon room/wine bar. I thought there is always someone unhappy. To my surprise - it took 25... More

After attending a wedding and visiting friends in Pennsylvania and New York, my husband and I decided to treat ourselves to a night in the city at the Plaza...and a treat it was! The only downside was the considerable cost of staying there. We did realize it was New York City and that everything is exponentially more expensive; that was... More

This was our fourth stay at The Plaza. Our first was in 2009 when we married here and loved it that much we insist on spending the last week of our annual month-in-NYC here. Coincidentally, we had our wedding anniversary during this stay :) We usually stay in an Edwardian Suite, but booked a Rose Suite this time (kindly upgraded... More

We stayed at the Plaza in April of 2012 and enjoyed our time there. It is centrally located so that we could go for a walk in Central Park or shop at the many stores nearby. We have stayed in several other top rated hotels in New York and this is my new favourite. Had a nice lunch on the... More

Booked hotel through for my adult son, wife, and myself. Paid for accommodations for 3 adults, one would expect sleeping arrangements for three adults. Room only had a king bed, no pullout sofa. Management of Plaza refused to provide a rollaway without a $75 charge per night or provide us a room with two double beds. Heard one excuse after... More

We have visited NYC many times, and each time we try to stay in a new hotel....until we stayed at The Plaza Hotel. Our first stay was in January 2012 and then returned in April 2012 again. This hotel exceeded our expectations. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, clean and the service is unmatched. It's luxury and elegance at its... More

Can't say enough about service, rooms and atmosphere. Yes, it is expensive but worth it. Only problem is the tourist traffic taking photos i lobby. There was one conceriege attendant that was rude and snobby. She apologized for her attitude but still will not forget this. Lobby bar, the Palm Court and the bar upstairs are all great. The gift... If you want a bit of luxury, have afternoon tea at the the Palm Court. We ordered the "New Yorker" to share, and it included miniature sandwiches, scones, mini canoli, and much more. You can see the menu here: http://www.fairmont.com/NR/rdonlyres/A6A15E82-2432-45F3-88BA-63F381194579/0/PLZ_Tea_Menu.pdf I ordered the Japanese green tea, which was phenomenal. The menu says "hints of pear and cream" - yum! Besides... More
