Wow. Don't be fooled by the great location. It won't matter because the stay is miserable. Be prepared to feel like you are sharing a room with the people around you. You can hear everything and I don't mean the enjoyable sounds of NY. More

Dear Nathan M. Thank you for leaving feedback regarding your experience at our hotel. We strive to provide outstanding accommodations and service to each of our guests. We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences which you experienced. The matter of noise is difficult to control especially during the busy holiday weekend. We attempted to relocate you to a quieter location, but... More

I stayed for 3 nights & loved the WSH. We had a deluxe exterior twin which, tho cozy, was comfy, impeccably clean, efficiently furnished, with a nicely updated bathroom. Like Italy, they even offer complimentary continental breakfast...all for a very reasonable price by NYC standards. Great location too. Only prob, our AC unit loudly cycled on & off all night... My first time in New York and after much debate we decided to stay in Greenwich. Great decision. Got checked in straight away when we arrived mid afternoon. Very friendly staff. Breakfast is good too, not a massive selection just the basics but that is all we wanted. We had a deluxe room 7th floor and we needed the extra... More

Excellent location, best hotel for the price in the neighborhood. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Interesting tile art around the lobby and public places. Decent, if overpriced restaurant, but lots more to choose from in the neighborhood. Ideal place to stay for events at NYU. More

Since our daughter has been attending NYU, this is the spot we have stayed to visit her. We have stayed near Times Square in the past. This is by far so much better. The hotel is clean w/nice little breakfast. Reminded of us of the hotels we stayed when visiting Paris, Rome, and London. Small, clean, tucked in convenient little... More

Now the third stay at this hotel. The Greenwich and West Village areas are by far the most appealing in NY if you want to cruise restaurants and get amongst locals and away from Times Square tourists. THe subway is close for visits north and south. The Wash Square Park on a sunny day is entertainment in itself just watching... More

This is my 6th time in this hotel. It is too expensive for what you get. Rooms are very small but clean. What they are calling a gim is a disgrace....Why i am coming back? Location location location. More

Let me first say that when I visit NYC with the family, we usually stay in the Elysee, Giraffe, or Casablanca. This time I went to the city on my own as I wanted to see some museums, libraries, and sports stuff that would bore my family. As i wanted to stay in the Village, I decided to give WSH... More

Last visit here was in July 2010. This time we arrived in NYC on 4/29 at 9:00 AM. Dropped our luggage off at the hotel for storage and were invited to go to the hotel's restraurant and have some of the free continental breakfast which was great since I ate breakfast at about 3:30 AM and was hungry. We were... More
