Things we love: location of hotel, size of room (HUGE by NY standards), linens, showerhead + bathroom, workout facility...all were updated and well appointed. Cannot wait to return More

I went to New York with my friend and never expected to be spoiled by the staff from this hotel. They upgraded our rooms like it wasn't enough all the attention we feeled transported to the grandiouse era of the gold celebreties who in the past and present still They enjoy staying in this beautiful hotel. This Hotel is located... More

It's not a bad hotel but it's not great either. It's just the location which makes it so atractive. The hotel it's too big so everything is far away. The service is good but slow. The decoration of the rooms reminded me my grandma's apartment. I couldn't believe when I was asked to pay usd 15 daily to have wifi.... More

What an amazing hotel. As soon as you walk into the Waldorf you feel the history and perfect experience that you would expect. I have dreamt of staying at this hotel for years and my husband booked it as part of my birthday celebration surprise. The service is second to none, from the moment you check in, to the maids,... We were upgraded to a suite with two rooms and two bathrooms. We checked in late on a flight from Dublin and the wonderful desk clerk after asking us about our trip, said, “Let me see what kind of room I can get you.” He got us a very beautiful upgraded suite! We hosted several wine receptions here, which everyone... More

I booked this hotel before Christmas for a 5 night stay at the end of May as it was the only hotel that was a reasonable price for New York (surprisingly!) with a good location. I had heard of the hotel so because of the rate that we had the room for I expected that despite the opulence of the... More

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights (Tuesday to Friday) and really enjoyed it. We arrived a couple of hours earlier than the start of check-in but were able to leave our luggage and my husband was sent a text message when our room was ready, which was only about 40 minutes later. We were also upgraded to a... More

The Waldorf was ideally situated in NYC for our needs. There was a subway stop a block away that took us to any place we wanted to go. While we were there (middle of April 2012), the exterior was being renovated, but it didn’t impact our stay. When entering the Waldorf, the reception area was beautiful. I tried to imagine... More

Writing a fully objective review when you stay somewhere on Hilton points is always less easy. Especially when you get upgraded. So, up front, we paid nothing for our room, and in fact were given a suite with separate living area, on a high floor, with a grandstand view of the Chrysler building. Sweet (as well as suite). (Generally Hilton... More

The location is excellent, the foyers are beautiful, however the rooms are tired looking. We had two rooms first room was on the 6th floor - deluxe queen room (had to be relocated due to water bulge in bathroom ceiling from bathroom above) second room was on the 13th floor which was nicer than the previous room however possibly the...
