I spent Friday and Saturday night at the Hotel Wales. Room perfect for one person and I enjoyed the shower and done over bathroom. Sarabeths is restaurant next door and convenient. A great little hotel in the upmarket upper east side, excellently located for fifth avenue and central park. Nicely laid out room with lovely large and comfortable beds and really clean bathroom with great rainshower. Topped off by wonderfully helpful and pleasant staff, we'll be back for sure. More

Stayed here in February of 2007-08. Got a suite. Big minus: Bathroom was very chilly and unappealing, with only a standup shower.
