Spectacular location...walk to phila art museums and city center. Rooms elegant and classic, marble, antique type furniture, great beds, flat screens.... wonderful fountain restaurant, bar and friendly staff. Don't get me wrong the hotel was nice, just a little outdated and not as spectacular as I would have expected. The staff was helpful and the food was excellent at the Swann Restaurant, definitely order the Philly Cheesesteak Eggrolls. More

The rooms here are old and need updating. As several reviewers have mentioned, the rooms are in need of an update and have a musty odor to them. However, the service is still excellent but don't know if it's worth the price tag to stay at this hotel. More

Was here on a spur-of-the-moment trip to Philly. Booked through Amex and received a complimentary upgrade to a suite. The property needs a serious update, but the staff was extraordinarily friendly and knowledgeable. The room is small, pricey, and NOTHING is complimentary, not even in-room coffee. No coffee or gift shops either. Only three outlets in the room, including one near the ONLY sink in the small bathroom where two people cannot get ready.
