I last stayed at the Union League Club in the early 1990's, when it was strictly a private club and access to a room for a non-member was only through connections with a member. It was fun then even though the room decor heralded back to the 1960's. There were very few out of town guests staying there. Several elderly... More

Stayed here for 5 nights when I was in town on business. Very good building, plenty of history and richly decorated. The food served is great (whichever meal of the day), and the staff are welcoming and friendly. The rooms are a little dated, but acceptable. Good toiletry selection and excellent wifi signal to continue with business. The gym is... More

I stay at the Union League when I'm in Philadelphia and not with family in the area. They've made very good efforts to upgrade the facilities over the past several years and I was really impressed with how far they've come, although they were still working on the dining rooms when I last visited. The location in Center City is... More

Wonderful place, old world charm. Rooms are decent size, bathroom a bit cramped, wifi decent, noise from alley trash pickup at 5:30 am was loud!!! I wondered why earplugs were available. Toiletries were nice, as were towels. Breakfast included was excellent.

I stayed here while in Philly on business. The room was not a bad size for the city and the bed was very comfortable. I ate both lunch and breakfast here and the food was fabulous. There was a little kitchen area on my floor with snacks and beverages which was a nice touch.

The Union League of Philadelphia is among the best city clubs in the country. It has the history and charm that many clubs have, but what sets the UL apart is its modern dining and hotel facilities, all of which have been brought up to modern luxury standards in the last few years. The formal restaurant, 1862, is one of... More

I've been a member for over 20 years and I love the place but the service needs to be taken up a bit. The phone manners of the staff I've dealt with are less than expected and the staff in the restaurant at breakfast has been sub-par the last three times I've been there. From staff gathering at the hostess... More

We stayed at The Inn At The Union League for a wedding in December and mostly loved it. While the rooms were not what you'd call modern, they were comfortable. The service at the fitness center was outstanding and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. They saved me a bunch of money by setting me up with a private... More

My husband is handicapped & when the cab driver left us off at the front door with its massive steps we were a bit put off....a staff member standing near the huge doorway inside told us that the correct way to enter was off the side entrance....wish the cab driver had known as that was the address given to us... The Union League of Philadelphia has been modernized over the last 15 years and is now a vibrant and highly enjoyable urban oasis. Getting into the inn requires either reservations by a member or making use of a reciprocal agreement from a club you or someone else may already belong to. In the bad old days this was a fairly...
