This is a small hotel, that is a little tired. The room was on the small side but had everything that we needed and it was clean and comfortable Continental breakfast was included in the price which was a nice surprise The area was handy for site seeing with lots of bars and food around More

And I don't mean that in a good way. Here are the good points, it is extremely well located to sights, restaurants and businesses. The staff is super sweet and amenable. HOWEVER, the rooms and building itself is musty and claustrophobic feeling. While I wouldn't call the rooms dirty, the disrepair and worn, tired look makes you feel like it... More

This is a great place to stay to visit all the historical sites. It is small, quiet and very friendly. Our room with two double beds was somewhat small but its an old hotel. Free breakfast was very good. More

I was extremely pleased with our stay at The Best Western Plus Independence Park Hotel. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our week in Philadelphia, and much of that was because our “home base” (this hotel) felt just like that. The smiling faces of the staff with their warm greetings, professionalism and true desire to help their guests were evident... More

Staff was very friendly and patient with my questions, location very, very convenient from NJ. Just a few blocks from the Ben Franklin Bridge. We went during the flower show and expected high prices, for the location this was a bargain. Not budget prices though. While boutique does not mean luxurious, room was adequate size, very comfortable and attractive and... More

Very impressed by the level of customer service at this hotel. Staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful, especially when we needed a toilet unclogged. We travel a lot and have never stayed at a Best Western before. Pleasantly surprised. Location was great for those with kids - especially those with kids taking US History! More

Very nice historic hotel, but if you have a car, its a 2 blocks from hotel. Staff was great. Costly base price & $50 in taxes. More

Ideal location for historic Philadelphia. Walkable but also easy to pick up bus on Walnut St to Rittenhouse area or subway from 2nd and Market to City Hall. All kinds of restaurants close to hotel. Hotel and room were comfortable, clean and and had a historic feel. During our 3 day stay, all staff - especially front desk - were... More

The hotel is very close to all the major historical sites in the Olde City area. Convenient to have free breakfast in the morning before heading out to the sites. The employees were all very nice. On the downside-the thing that first hit me when entering the lobby was an overpowering smell of bug spray. It was particularly strong in... More
