Stayed for only one night but would definitely return. Nice large rooms, spacious bathrooms and what a view! The shipping certainly provides an interesting and beguiling backdrop and the daily sailings flyer is a nice touch. The classic car into town is fun as well as a practical way to overcome the slightly out of the way location. The breakfast... More

We were working on a project in the area and decided to stay here based on several recommendations we had received from other coworkers. I was truly impressed by everything this motel had to offer. The room was spotless and included a fire place, bath tub and glass shower with views of the river. The bed was more comfortable then... More

We liked watching the ships come by at "arms-length". Very classy experience throughout. More

Wonderful hotel. Front desk service can sometimes be a little lacking but don't let that put you off. Once in your room it is hard to leave. Sitting on the window seat listening to the water lapping at the pier and watching the river traffic it is hard to tear yourself away but the wine reception awaits, then out to... More

This was just a delightful place to stay! From the moment we walked in, I just said to myself, "Now this is a NICE place!" The lobby has soaring ceilings, and walls of windows, with gorgeous views of the Columbia River. Each guest room has the same views, and I found it fascinating to sit and watch the river go... More

My sister and I just returned from a three night stay at The Cannery Pier Hotel. Built on a pier over the Columbia River, each room has a majestical view of the river. The rooms include a balcony, a fireplace, and even excellent binoculars that take you all the way out to the bar. A full spa provided superb, relaxing... More

Eventhough I gave this property the highest rating, it doesn't mean it's a five star place. I believe this is an important distinction. For what this place strives to be, I think they hit the mark and their niche. Everything was modern, clean and comfortable. Soaring ceilings in the lobby with gas fireplaces warmed the space. Windows everywhere, helped to... More

This hotel feels new and you get that "this is a classy place" feeling as soon as you walk in. It's actually built on pilings that extend into the Columbia River and you see huge barges and cargo ships go right past your window. The hotel provides free binoculars in your room. We would see the ship's name -- then... More
